Healthcare should not be a luxury, but for too many Floridians, it feels like one. The cost of care continues to rise, access remains uneven, and too many people are forced to delay treatment because they simply can’t afford it.

I believe we must expand access to affordable, quality healthcare across the state, especially in underserved and rural communities. That includes lowering prescription drug costs, strengthening community health systems, and addressing the mental health crisis with urgency and compassion.

When people are healthy, communities thrive. Expanding healthcare access isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s essential to building a stronger, more resilient Florida.
